Kim, Hi! I like how you were able to connect the learning theory we discussed this week and the VoiceThread into your class instruction. You did a great job on the VoiceThread. I cannot believe it was the first time you created one! I had a lot of trouble making mine. However, I enjoyed working with the VoiceThread and plan on using it in my class. VoiceThread is one educational technology tool that the district does not block! Nice job! Donna Fortunato
Donna, Thank you! It was my first time and it took me a while to get the hang of it and still need more practice. My district blocks a lot of the educational resources that we have used in these technology classes. VoiceThread, however, is not one of those. I have been able to utilize VoiceThread at school too. It is frustrating at times when I find something I think my students would like and find it blocked when I get to work. Hopefully, school districts will begin to allow access for the benefit of our students.
